With Karl and Oktay we relocate the Batteries and chargers from under the masterbed to the saloon. We expect less heat, electrosmog and a better balanced Lily.

Back in Marmaris for two weeks to do some refits. We definitly decided to cross this fall the Atlantic. Yupeee!
Still in Turkey we spend the evening in thd wonderful bay of serce limani. Laura guts and fillets the tuna like a pro. Rod grills it with oliveoil, some spices and a butter sauce.
Motoring west against the wind. Our course towards Greece hasn’t found yet the favor of the gods.
We climb to the graves above tomb bay.
We decide to head north for the Greek Cyclades before the Melthemi sets in. In sw winds Lily shows off her two new forsails with 8kts.
At the bazar in Fetiye
While anchored off Gucek in a small bay we sunbath, swim and mount a block for the furling staysail.
Laura is the Cowgirl. Lily in the background.
Into Skopea Bay just South of Gocek. After a couple overcast days, delicious to feel warm sun again
Climbing the rocks above the cove we anchored Lily. We are rewarded with a spectacular view over the bay of Fethiye.
Red cliffs and caves
Captain Rod with jenaker
Kucuk Kuyruk is the name of this little bay East of Marmaris, nicely wooded and inhabited by goats. Kuku B-)
Rod’s at it again: memories of catching that tuna are still fresh
Dinner above the bay
ekincic
Rod up the mast checking rigging and putting fresh navigation lightbulbs in
Swim @ 21.7 Celsius! Nice spot at anchor and tied stern-to near hamlet of Ekincic
Landing at ekincik limani
Hazy but warm, no wind but sunny first day on the boat
Glassy seas, no more wind so motor on. Still got in a dozen nautical miles
Captain Rod where he belongs. Full sails to South and then East towards Fetiye
Turkish haircut includes having earhairs burnt away by flaming torch!
Rooftops and then some
Views from the fort in Marmaris
Haircut time in Marmaris
New furling staysail and new genoa
Sad moment of retiring the Dutch bikes who served us well for over two years
