We failed to make it into the inner bay. Too many shallow rocks. But our morning swim was delightful!
Squalls and lots of wind and confused seas take us to the uninhabited island of Mona. Rod is out with the dinghy checking the shallow depths. Fingers crossed we can get in out of this chop!
Last Evening we anchored of the palm beach of Boccaron. Rod went to the next town with the nice help of a local to clear customs and immigration for our crossing to the Dominican Republic. This morning early after a swimm along the beach we set sails for the [...] Windy downwind sail along south coast of Puerto Rico around the Red Cap to large bay of Boqueron, our last stop on this island before we head for Mona island and the Dominican Republic.

We tie up at the quiet marina in Salinas for peace of mind to rent a car and explore the south west of Puerto Rico. Every day we see manatees and leaping rays, occasionally a dolphin and needlefish. After another stroll in the forest of El Yunque we visit the fort of San Juan and fly our kite with Hundreds of others. The evening we boogy in various salsa joints and crash in an little hotel in the old city.
