Things change, and so does this site! The next few weeks things might look a bit funky.

As you have noticed we are back in Switzerland for the Winter. Lily is in Lavrion Greece on the hard. This spring we plan to continue our sailing adventures in the Med.

Meanwhile we are enjoying domestic life and going on with our projects.

The owner upon learning that we are a Swiss boat, asked Rod, ‘ in Switzerland do ya’ll have a socialist or democratic government?’ To save himself from lynching, Rod replied ‘very democratic [...]

sailing to Atlantic city

It’s freeeeeezing! Sailing hard to the wind and waves with 20knot east winds we sail all day to Atlantic city. The marina is built around a trump gambling hotel with thousands of retirees sitting at slot machines all day. Very depressing.

Watch this little movie of Rod kitesurfing in North Carolina off of Lookout Point. There is a funny ending!

First foggy morning in a long while. Wonderful quiet anchorage. Shame we are in such a hurry to get north to New York as the Chesapeake Bay deserves more time.
